Hudlett Racing owner Jeff Hudlett has been racing karts for over 35 years. Jeff began to build his own national championship-winning engines for clients in 1993.
With an extensive background in engine building and chassis set-up, he has worked with and trained many of the nation's top drivers. He has assisted Ryan Hunter-Reay's quick rise through karting at the national level, to the point where Ryan is now driving in Indycar. Jeff also worked with Nelson Phillippe as primary engine builder/tuner and data acquisition specialist, using Pi Research System 1, for three years, until Nelson moved out of karts and into Indycar. Both of these drivers have recently competed in the prestigious 2009 Indy 500.
With another fresh young driver to work with, Jeff hopes to bring new talent to the national level yet again.
